This year we celebrate 26 years.  The DC Peach Truck is owned by Shelly Dowling.  Shelly is a Dodge City native that had been living in Denver, Colorado for the previous 21 years.  She had retired from her work as a Chiropractor and discovered her love of fresh Colorado peaches and produce. In 2021 she started her own stand in Colorado. 

Late October of 2023 she returned to Dodge City to care for her parents.  As she and her mom drove past Waters True Value the following summer her mom said, “Oh great, the peach truck is here.”  Shelly went the next day to pick up some peaches and well, the rest is history.  It was a natural fit! She purchased the Peach Truck from Larry & Cindy Edmiston in 2025.

Under the ownership of Shelly, the DC Peach Truck is taking this labor of love forward. Continuing to serve Dodge City and surrounding areas.
